PRESS RELEASE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Cape Cod Concerned Citizens was outraged to learn that a friend of Senator Julian Cyr, Raphael Richter, who has also been a contributor to his campaigns (see below), is the owner of Mercedes Cab. Mercedes Cab was awarded a $6.8 million no-bid contract to provide free transportation to illegal immigrants by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on October 13, 2023. This behavior is completely unbecoming of a Massachusetts State Senator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cape Cod Concerned Citizens has also learned that the President\/Manager of Spinelli\u2019s Catering, Rita Roberto, who was also awarded a no-bid contract in the amount of $10 million to provide meals to the illegal immigrants in the shelters, is a contributor to the campaigns of Maura Healey and Kim Driscoll (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is the epitome of the \u201cpay to play\u201d corruption that takes place in this state We believe that Julian Cyr and Maura Healey should be investigated for this corruption.
